Reading fullback Liam Rosenior says their clash with Birmingham City this weekend is crucial in their battle against the drop.

"Saturday's game is a big one, but they all are," Rosenior told Reading's official website. "With 24 points available, we want to get 12, then we know we'll be safe.

"Looking at the performance at Liverpool, I'd be surprised if we don't manage to do it. 40 (points) is the aim, then we won't have to rely on favours from anybody else.

"This is the top league in the world, and we're good enough to be here, I'm sure we will still be here.

"We've got six points from three games and to me that's Championship-winning form. If we keep that going to the end of the season we'll be fine."
