Reading midfielder Glen Little is confident he is nearing a return from an Achilles injury.

"I'm happy with the way things are going," Little told the Reading Evening Post. "It's one of those injuries where for the first three months you can't really do much.

"I've been ticking over but you've just got to let it heal, and once I get to Christmas or new year then I'll get the all clear.

"If they say it's looking good and everything's sewn up nicely then I'll be able to kick on and really start training properly."
