Reading's Kebe signs contract extension

Championship club Reading have extended the contract of winger Jimmy Kebe.

The 28-year old was offered a new deal a few weeks ago and has now signed off to pledge his future to the club until the summer of 2014.

Royals boss Brian McDermott was delighted with the news that the former Lens man had re-signed.

"I'm delighted that Jimmy has decided to sign a new deal with us," McDermott told the club's official website.

"He believes in what we are trying to do here and he obviously feels Reading is the right club for him and that I am the right manager for him. Negotiations have been ongoing for a long time and I am delighted that it has now reached a conclusion with which everyone is happy."
