Reading teenager Aaron Kuhl has poured cold water over rumours linking him with a summer move to Manchester City.
The 18-year old midfielder has impressed in the Royals' U21 side this season which has prompted interest from a number of Premier League clubs including City.
It is believed that top flight clubs may fight it out over a reported £2million move for Kuhl in the summer but the starlet is not reading into any of the speculation.
"It's all just rumours," he told the Reading Post.
"It's good to have rumours like that, getting your name in the paper and getting people to notice you, but I want to stay here.
"I've come through this club, I'm an academy product. I've been here for six or seven years now. This place means everything.
"It's my home basically. I come in every day, live, breathe, eat - I do everything here.
"It's a great club to be around. Everyone is humble and nice to talk to, so it's all good."
Kuhl added: "You get a burst of excitement (when you see the reports) but then you realise you've just got to stay down to earth and don't let anything like that get in your head."
