Reading have told Jay Tabb he can leave this month.
Tabb has been an unused substitute for Reading's last three leagues fixtures before he was restored to the starting line-up for last weekend's FA Cup tie with Crawley Town.
Sky Sports says Tabb has been told he can leave the club during the January transfer window.
