Glen Little and Michael Duberry are stepping up their comebacks at Reading.

Royals physio Jon Fearn told readingfc.co.uk, "We've seen Glen's surgeon and he was very happy with the progress, it all went as was expected.

"We'll progress from here, and the time period will be dictated by when he's physically ready to train.

"The tendon will take a good time to completely heal, but that wouldn't stop him getting back to playing football.

"We don't want to push him too soon, I think March might be optimistic but we'll see how he goes."

He continued, "Michael is progressing well, and hopefully will be back to training this week in preparation for Villa.

"It's been slow progress, but steady. I think the damage to his knee was underestimated, it could've been a lot worse.

"He's getting near now, he's more comfortable running."
