LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena expects talented forward Gyasi Zardes to return to the club in 2016.
The 24-year-old USA international has recently been linked with a possible $3million move to English Championship club Reading but Arena has moved quickly to dispel those rumours.
"We fully anticipate having Gyasi back with the Galaxy," Arena recently told LA Galaxy Insider.
Additionally, Galaxy president Chris Klein insisted that homegrown product Zardes, who scored nine goals in 2015, would be sticking around for some time yet.
"Gyasi is a kid that grew up in our backyard. He came through our Academy and succeeded for our club, and now he's succeeding for the national team. We're very proud of that," Klein said.
"We want to continue to see him score a lot of goals in a Galaxy shirt."
