Reading striker Shane Long is staying grounded over rumours of a Premier League move.
West Ham United are preparing a £3million bid for 11-goal hitman Shane Long, who gaffer Brian McDermott insists is staying - despite already having a bid for Plymouth's Bradley Wright-Phillips accepted.
The 23-year-old said: "There are always going to be rumours about me leaving but I don't worry about that sort of stuff.
"I just concentrate on doing the right things in my game and those things will take care of themselves.
"Last year we beat Liverpool and people have reminded me I have 11 more goals now than I did when I scored at Anfield.
"That was a nice moment and I have a picture of it on my wall at home but it's in the past now and we have to look to the future.
"Our season started after that FA Cup win and it is getting a bit like that this season but we can't get carried away."
