Reading striker Adam Le Fondre is happy to have silenced his past critics.

The Stockport-born ace believes there are a few managers who have been left red faced by his purple patch.

He said: "Half of Yorkshire came to watch me when I was at Rotherham and saw me enough times to sign me - more fool them for letting me go.

"Big thanks to the gaffer here as it looks like others have egg on their face."
