Reading striker Noel Hunt is excited to be preparing for the Premier League.

He joined Reading just after they had been relegated from the top-flight.

Since then, the Irish striker has been desperate for a return to the English top flight. That finally came when Brian McDermott's side came from nowhere to steal the title off Southampton.

Hunt admitted: "This was the craziest season I've ever known.

"It was massive to be able to get back to the Premier League.

"When I signed the club promised they were going to do everything they could to get us back as quickly as possible. It's taken a while and we've had a few close calls.

"We just quietly went about our business and the lads were buzzing when it came off.

"I'm not sure I've ever had a better feeling in football. It was incredible. I can't wait to play Man United, City, Arsenal and Chelsea. It's a dream come true."
