Reading have parted company with Dutch manager Jaap Stam as they try to stay in the Championship this season.
Stam, a former Manchester United and Milan player, has not impressed the club's supporters and board with his performance as manager.
Reading are currently 20th in the Championship, with only four teams below them. With a tiny gap to the relegation zone, the club know they need to act quickly.
They will hope to bring in another manager for the rest of the season, in the hopes it will boost the playing squad and ensure enough wins to stay in the Championship.
