Reading goalkeeper Adam Federici has admitted that he will ponder his playing future this off-season. The 26-year old Australian international has been at the Madejski Stadium since 2005 but told the Reading Chronicle that he has some thinking to do.
"I'll think about things while I'm away then see where I am," Federici said.
"I've got another two years left on my contract with Reading so we will see."
But in saying that, Federici did make it clear that he was looking forward to next season with the Royals after narrowly missing promotion to the Premier League last term.
"There are loads of positives to take from last season which will make us stronger as a team," he added.
"Hopefully we can keep as much of the team together as possible then I think we will have every opportunity of going up automatically instead of through the play-offs.
"We had to rebuild when we dropped down from the Premier League and we're still in that stage at the moment.
"But we've got a great manager (Brian McDermott) and a great set-up. Everything is ready to go and we're excited about the future."
