Adam Federici believes Reading will go into Monday night's Championship playoff with Swansea City as underdogs.
The Australian goalkeeper and the Royals take on the Swans at Wembley Stadium for the chance to win promotion to the English Premier League in a match that is worth around $100million to the victorious club.
Federici welcomes the fact that Swansea will be favourites as it gives Reading the opportunity to focus on their own game.
"I'm happy if people say we are not the favourites and the truth is Swansea had it over us this season, beating us 1-0 home and away," Federici told The World Game.
"We're happy to take a bit of a back seat and let our football do the talking on the day.
"It's important that we play the match - and not the occasion. Wembley is the perfect stage for any footballer and I feel we are a team for the big occasion.
"But we can't let it get to us."
And Federici added that he sees the chances of his team reaching England's top flight as 50%.
"I see going up for us as a 50-50 thing. We're a good side and we had a great late run of results to get into the play-offs," he added.
"Swansea obviously finished above us and they have done well. It's going to be close but of course we believe we can do it.
"If we go up then there are the financial rewards and every club that reaches the Premier league knows it needs to strengthen its squad because it's a tough place to get to and it's even harder to stay there."
