Southend United boss Steve Tilson has signed Hal Robson-Kanu on loan from Reading until the end of the season.
The England under-19 international can play on either the left of midfield or in attack and could make his Shrimpers debut against Leyton Orient on Saturday.
He was a substitute for Reading's recent FA Cup tie at Spurs and was part of the squad that travelled to Korea in pre-season.
