Reading are planning a bid for Sunderland midfielder Kieran Richardson.
The Daily Mail says Reading boss Brian McDermott is weighing up a £2million bid for Sunderland's Richardson as he makes plans for the Premier League.
Reading, who could go up on Tuesday night, see Richardson as a possible replacement for Ian Harte.
