Reading are preparing a £1 million bid for Crystal Palace midfielder Ben Watson.
Palace boss Neil Warnock hopes he can persuade Watson to stay at Selhurst Park: "Since I told the players they can leave the club if they want to, Ben has been superb. I've not had any offers."
