Reading signing Daniel Carrico could soon make his debut with his new club according to manager Brian McDermott.
The 24-year old Portuguese centre-back has joined the Royals from Sporting Lisbon on a two-and-a-half-year deal for a fee of around £600,000 and McDermott has indicated that he should be ready to take on West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League next Saturday.
"Daniel will train (on Friday) fully with the squad for the first time and then we'll have a look next week," McDermott said.
