Reading are pushing to land Nottingham Forest fullback Chris Gunter.

The Daily Mail says Reading have made a £2million offer for Gunter.

Swansea City bid £1.6m for the Wales defender last week but that was rejected by manager Steve Cotterill, who is reluctant to let the player go.

However, Forest's current financial position leaves them vulnerable to offers.
