Reading are seeking a loan deal for Tottenham midfielder Adel Taarabt.

The French-Moroccan midfielder has seen a move to Spanish side Malaga collapse, but now Brendan Rodgers' Royals have asked to take him.

Spurs may let Taarabt leave as his first-team chances will be slim, even if Harry Redknapp moves out some of his current squad.
