Reading midfielder Jem Karacan is a shock £1 million target for Besiktas.
The Mirror says the Istanbul club, already qualified for the Champions League group stages, have been monitoring the Catford-born midfielder, who has a Turkish father and represented the country at youth and under-21 level, for the past year.
Now Besiktas want the 20-year-old, who made 17 appearances for the Royals last term and started in Saturday's goalless draw with Nottingham Forest, to leave English football and come to his father's homeland after Reading accepted the bid.
