Reading are set to sign Crawley Town midfielder Hope Akpan.
Former Everton junior Akpan is thought to be undergoing a medical at the Madejski Stadium after Crawley accepted a bid from Reading for the Nigerian midfielder, says Sky Sports.
The 21 year-old is expected to sign a three-and-a-half-year deal at Reading.
