Reading to make move for Burnley's Austin after failed Hull deal

Reading manager Nigel Adkins is believed to be keen on making a move for Burnley striker Charlie Austin.

The 24-year old was close to joining Hull City recently but a knee problem forced him to fail a medical which derailed his potential shift to the KC Stadium.

The Daily Mail suggests that Reading will now make a £2.5millionm cut-price offer for Austin who has scored 40 goals in 82 Championship outings.
