Reading goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann has questioned whether former teammate Steve Sidwell is good enough to make an impact at Chelsea.

The American has published a diary of the Berkshire club's inaugural season in the Premier League which includes a frank assessment of Sidwell's ability.

Hahnemann wrote: "He's going to find it tough at Chelsea. No question he's a good player but I don't think he made as much of an impact in the Premier League as he did in the Championship."
