Reading boss Steve Coppell is closing in on Bristol City midfielder Colin Skusse.

The Reading Evening Chronicle says the 21-year-old has long been linked with a move to Reading and reports in Bristol suggest a bid of around £1 million could tempt City boss Gary Johnson to do business.

Last week Johnson dismissed Reading's interest as 'speculation' but it is understood Skusse is high up on Coppell's wanted list.
