Reading boss Nigel Adkins is keen to sign permanently Billy Sharp.
The Mirror says Reading will offer Southampton £800,000 to buy striker Billy Sharp when his loan expires next month.
Sharp crowned his first start for the Royals by scoring the winner in Tuesday's 1-0 victory at Charlton after recovering from a groin injury.
