Reading have held onto teenage defender Jake Cooper.
Reading have confirmed on their official website that centre-back Cooper has signed a three-year professional contract.
The 18-year-old played for Manchester United at the Aegon Future Cup last year and there had been talk the Reds were keen to sign him.
