Reading fullback Stephen Kelly admits he's desperate to avoid another relegation.

Kelly, 29, has past experience of a Premier League battle, having gone down with Birmingham City in 2008 - the same year that Reading were relegated.

He said: "It's a tough place to be but you would rather be in the Premier League and fighting for these games than be anywhere else.

"You have to grit your teeth and grind out results.

"We want to stay in this division, it's so important for everyone to be in the Premier League."
