Reading are closing on a deal for Swansea City winger Modou Barrow.

Sky Sports says Reading have agreed a deal believed to be in the region of £1.25m to take Barrow from the Liberty to the Madejski Stadium.

It is understood that the Swans are ready to cash in on Barrow who still has two years left on his current deal with the Welsh club.

The winger has netted two goals in 55 appearances for the Swans.

He was included in the squad for Swansea's 2-1 pre-season win over Richmond Kickers, although he was the only outfield player not to feature from the bench.
