Reading are on the verge of securing the services of Stoppila Sunzu from Congolese club TP Mazembe.
The 23-year old centre-back, currently away with the Zambian team at the African Cup of Nations, has been heavily linked with the Royals after training with them recently and he has suggested that a move is close to being complete.
"Everything went well," Sunzu said of his training stint.
"I'm happy because I passed the assessment and now it's up to TP Mazembe and Reading to finalise the deal.
"When they do that, I will sign the contract right here."
