French starlet Geoffrey Kondogbia is a £4 million target for Reading boss Brian McDermott.

The Mirror says negotiators from his club Lens flew to England yesterday to sort out a deal with the Royals for the 19-year-old who has been watched by several top Premier League clubs.

Kondogbia and his pals lost to England in the U19 Euros but are in the semi-final against Spain today - with Reading hoping they can agree a fee before the match starts and his admirers increase.
