The Daily Mail says owner Anton Zingarevich and director of football Nicky Hammond held talks yesterday as they stepped up their hunt for a new boss.

Roberto Di Matteo and Gus Poyet are also on Zingarevich's list of candidates to replace Brian McDermott.
