Reading chief Nick Hammond insists Simon Church has a future at the Madejski.

Church is keen to move out on-loan, but has been told he must sign a new contract first.

Hammond told Getreading: "Churchy is another player who we are looking to tie down to us.

"I know that he can score goals at this level, but with him not in the team at the moment, he does need game time too."
