Reading face being bombed out by Chelsea for Celta Vigo striker Iago Aspas.
The Mirror says Chelsea and Reading sent representatives to watch Celta Vigo striker Aspas during his side's 2-0 defeat to Espanyol yesterday.
Against Espanyol, Aspas - who has eight goals this season - wasn't at his scintillating best, but as he grew more frustrated he became more involved, dropping deeper and getting more of the ball.
When in possession, he drew several fouls from Espanyol defenders who simply didn't know how to handle with him. He was equally adept at dropping into an attacking midfield role to pick up the ball - working the channels, beating the full-backs and delivering crosses.
It's emerged today that Chelsea are willing to meet Aspas' £8.2 million buyout clause.
