Reading boss Steve Coppell has challenged striker Leroy Lita, 22, to fight for his place.

Lita's only goal this season came in the Carling Cup win over Swansea and his contract runs out at the end of next season.

But Coppell declared: "Every club needs four strikers and I just hope he is determined to fight his way back into the team."
