Danny Guthrie is back in the good books at Reading.

Guthrie, 25, apologised to team-mates after a series of spats with manager Brian McDermott that began when he was dropped against his ex-club Newcastle in September.

Now he will start for the Royals at St James' today.

And McDermott said: "I'm really pleased with him. He's settled into the environment now. To say sorry took a big man."
