Reading boss Brian McDermott is delighted with the support received from fans for their Premier League return.

McDermott is actively working to strengthen his squad this summer.

"Considering where we were this time last year I'm enjoying it," he said.

"In that time to come back and manage to come back in the way that we did is an incredible achievement from the staff, players and supporters.

"To have 18,000 season ticket holders backing us next season is just phenomenal following the year that we have had."
