Reading boss Steve Coppell admits he wishes he still had Chelsea midfielder Steve Sidwell.

"I'll make no bones about it, I wish he was still here," said Coppell, who lost the midfielder on a free transfer this summer. "I don't think anyone resented him moving on. He gave us bags of notice and made his position very clear. Even though he knew he was going, he still played his heart out last season."
