Reading boss Steve Coppell is delighted to have Ibrahima Sonko back from Senegal's African Nations Cup campaign.

Coppell told Reading World, "He was desperate to be involved on Saturday.

"I think his presence alone gives us more stature.

"We're a small side, and when we match up for set pieces we're three or four inches smaller than most.

"But with Sonko in there it throws the odds in our favour. We need his aerial aggression and ability to win headers.

"The timing is significant, he can have a week of training, and the chance to recover from his trials and tribulations at the Cup Of Nations."
