Reading boss Steve Coppell can't rule out more departures following Steve Sidwell [Chelsea] and Greg Halford [Sunderland] exits this summer.

"I can't say we won't lose others," Coppell told the Evening Post. "I'm sure it won't be core players, but I can see other players leaving here.

"The market is always slow at this stage of the summer. There are times when things are very active, which is usually towards the end of July.

"At the moment things are dormant as a lot of football people are on holiday."
