Reading boss Steve Clarke is confident Saido Berahino will settle down at West Brom.
Clarke is a big fan of his former West Brom star.
He told talkSPORT: “Saido is a terrific footballer. He is a little bit emotional at times and I think that shows.
"But he is only a young boy and young people always make mistakes. In society, you have to accept it, you have try to get into better habits, and you have to hope they learn as they get older - and I'm sure Saido will.
“The Berahino issue was a chance for a young boy to go to a top club like Tottenham so you can understand his disappointment but you can also understand the point of view of West Brom.
“They wanted to keep one of their biggest assets, they didn't think the deal was right for them to sell, and they are perfectly within their rights to keep hold of Saido.
“Now everyone has to sit down and have a grown up conversation. The bottom line is Saido wants to play football, West Brom want to pick him, so there has got to be a compromise and a solution there."
