Reading boss Nigel Adkins is scouting new talent this weekend.

The Royals are without a game this weekend and must start planning for next season in the Championship after losing their battle against the drop last month.

"It's not a clear weekend at all," he said.

"It is a great opportunity for us to review one or two targets for the summer. At this stage of the season the recruitment side of things kicks in at all football clubs and that'll be no different with ourselves.

"There are plenty of games throughout Europe for us to go and watch with the targets that we have got."
