Reading boss Steve Coppell is set to bid for West Ham United striker Bobby Zamora.
Zamora - who worked under the Reading manager at Brighton before moving to Spurs - was also wanted by Sheffield United before their relegation fate was sealed. With West Ham in the market for a new front man, Zamora will be allowed to leave if Reading match boss Alan Curbishley's £2.5 million valuation.
Zamora's agent James Barrett told the Mirror: "Reading were in for Bobby in the January transfer window and we fully expect them to come back with a fresh bid this summer."
