Reading are expected to make a fresh bid for striker Jan Koller after the veteran admitted he was ready to ask away from AS Monaco last night.

The Czech Republic international was left on the bench at Monaco yesterday and told Sport: "I am very disappointed. I plan to leave the club.

"If this situation continues, I will look for another solution for this season."

Reading, FC Twente and AZ Alkmaar have been linked with Koller this summer. Also in the frame are Middlesbrough and Birmingham City.
