Reading fullback Nicky Shorey will have a choice of Premiership clubs this week.

The Sun says Sunderland and Aston Villa have had bids accepted for Shorey.

The £4.5million-rated star has been hoping for a move following the Royals' relegation from the top flight.

Black Cats boss Roy Keane will try to tempt him north while Shorey could link up with old Reading team-mate Steve Sidwell at Villa.
