RB Leipzig management are desperate not to lose young defender Lukas Klostermann.
BILD says the 20 year-old, who has shone for Germany at the Rio Games, is emerging as a serious target for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
Tottenham have scouted Klostermann this year, but it's suggested the Gunners are "hot on the trail" of the young stopper.
The defender's RBL deal runs to 2018 and football chief Ralf Rangnick is pushing to open new contract talks with his agents.
Rangnick is well aware of Arsenal's interest and wants to tie Klostermann down to a new contract. But for the moment, the player's minders have offered little encouragement.
Along with Arsenal and Spurs, Klostermann has also attracted enquiries from Ajax and Juventus.
