The German outfit are shock title contenders in the Bundesliga, sitting second behind leaders Bayern Munich.

And the fact they are likely to be able to offer Champions League football next season means they are looking to bring in some star names.

Mauricio Pochettino is a huge fan of Zaha's, and has asked chairman Daniel Levy to get a deal done.

But moneybags Leipzig, who took Oliver Burke from Nottingham Forest last summer, have strong backing from the energy-drink company and can better any terms that Tottenham offer.
