RB Leipzig chief Ralf Rangnick hailed the performance of Naby Keita for their Champions League win over AS Monaco.
Keita produced arguably his best performance of the season - scoring a wonder goal in the process.
The midfielder's form is said to have been affected by his pre-contract deal with Liverpool.
Rangnick acknowledges the unusual situation has unsettled Keita, but said: "We do not need to discuss his quality. And I never had any doubt that it had been buried.
"Today one has seen again how much class there is in him. The other things we will do together with him now, we will support him with everything we have."
