RB Leipzig chairman Mintzlaff dismisses Liverpool, Real Madrid Werner interest

RB Leipzig insist they're under no pressure to sell Timo Werner.

The Germany striker is attracting interest from Real Madrid and Liverpool - with the youngster linked with both clubs this week.

"Timo Werner is still contracted until 2020, and no exit clause and feels happy with us," chairman Oliver Mintzlaff told Sky Deutschland.

Mintzlaff insists their priority is to extend Werner's deal.

"This is certainly a priority. But it is also not the case that we are now drifting."
