Rayo Vallecano midfielder Iago Falque blames Real Madrid star Gareth Bale for failing to make it at Tottenham.

Falque remains tied to Spurs, but is on a season-long loan at Rayo.

"My path was blocked by Bale; I play in a similar position to him and it was tough to get any game time with such a great player standing in my way. Competing for a place with him, Modric, Lamela and so on was no mean feat," he told Marca.
