Rayo Vallecano have signed Valencia goalkeeper Yoel Rodríguez on loan.

Rodriguez replaces Rayo's first-choice keeper Toño who was ruled out for the rest of the season with a damaged cruciate ligament. Yoel was not present at Valencia's training session in Paterna this morning and his anticipated move has been made official by the Madrid club.

As soon as the deal was signed the player went straight to Rayo's Ciudad Deportivo training grounds to meet his new teammates and get straight to work.

The Galician is available for selection for the squad to face Getafe on Monday in la Liga.
